Workshop Information & Registration

Celebrating over 28 consecutive years of success, the Louisiana Hospital Association School for Supervisory Training (LHASST) has distinguished itself as the proven standard for development of supervisory skills in healthcare, and our “award winning” program just keeps getting better!

The result is a dynamic program, which includes discussion of proven supervisory and managerial principles, relevant health care case studies (to facilitate skills application), personality profiling (to gain greater insight into the different personality types), and an exploration of the economic realities and trends in healthcare today. This school is uniquely designed to meet the needs of both recently appointed and experienced supervisors/managers.  Many newly appointed supervisors/ managers in healthcare are promoted to their positions based on the strength of their technical skills.

LHASST provides promising individuals with the “know-how” to manage others more effectively. An excellent faculty has been assembled for this year's school.  The considerable talents and experiences of the faculty will be shared with participants through a variety of learning formats, including lively presentations, experiential exercises, small team activities, case studies, and group discussions.
